The charge indicator light on the dash is just confirmation that the cable is plugged in, not that the car is actually charging.When the concept was tested with vehicle in static position, it was able to provide enough charge via the charge cable.

No surprise there, the OBC/EV-ECU need to be able to ‘talk’ to the EVSE via the communication lines.but w/o any evidence of changing ( include no battery bars)
No doubt, there are ways to improve efficiency, but when the effort is greater than the yield, it becomes pointless, I just thought of a way to recapture some of it. Yes this is possible

I cut off the (CP) . It carries a low voltage when the car off and signal the charge plug is connected
