Hi,
I tried the described procedure now, and at first it seemed to work.
I drove the car down to zero bars, then disconnected the 12V- battery and conected it again.
After starting it up the car had two bars showing.
I was able to do this 5 times, but after that disconecting and connecting the 12V didn't change the showed bars.
After driving it down to zero bars again the car had still 3,5V per cell.
Of course, with the voltage still that high I was not able to start the recalculation procedure.
Does anyone have any other ideas on how to procede?
I noticed that the usable Ah is slowly rising, but at this rate it will take quite some time:
The first bar from june is still with the old cells.
I will chaeck how much was charged when I get home; Today my wife was driving the car.
I think for anyone doing a cell- swap in the future it would be a good idea to discharge the cells bevore installing them in the car, and then do the recalculation on the first startup.
