Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing a charging issue with my C-Zero. Initially, the car had a problem with the DC-DC converter. After inspecting it, I discovered some blown capacitors, which I replaced. Once repaired, the 12V battery started charging again, and the car drove perfectly fine.

However, after a test drive, I noticed the car would no longer charge. When I plug the car in, the light on the charger turns on but switches off again after about 5 seconds. I took it to a mechanic who tried clearing all the error codes, but he was unable to access the module for the DC-DC converter.

What can I do to resolve this issue? The car’s battery is almost completely drained, and it’s currently stuck in my garage.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I hope that did not cost you more then 20$. https://myimiev.com/threads/overvie...ters-their-functionality-and-the-future.5719/

He used MUT-3 or Diagbox for this task?

Tow it to the next Chademo charger. While its been towed check if it charges fine when you steal the energy out of the car towing it. At the Chademo charger check if its charging fine with DC.

He removed the codes for free, but I have no idea which software he used to do it. I drove to a DC charger with the car, and that worked perfectly.

Which capacitors did you replace in the DCDC converter?

Your AC charging symptoms sound like a blown component in the AC Input Circuit of the OBC, e.g. precharge resistor, capacitor, AC relay, etc.
