It's a 2012 with 92k. The car does 40 km on a full charge, and shows the turtle with acceleration. I ran down the charge to a halt after suspending the car. I brought down the battery pack, and noticed the pack still got 160v and all the cells still had approx 37v. I wonder if this is a normal finding. Any ideas?

Thanks guys

You mean each cell has 3.7V? With the orange service disconnect removed you measure only half the battery voltage.

It sounds like the HV pack has degraded cells that have a low capacity and or drop their level under 3V when under heavy load.

Given the age and mileage of the car a 40km range isn’t unusual, unfortunately. Unless it’s just one cell causing all the trouble (can be verified with a dongle/app) it’s best to replace the complete pack.
