Hi sandange! We're now seeing many Model 3 Teslas around here. The owners I've talked to at the Supercharger stops really like the car (duh!) and laud the car's handling, but wish it was quieter. There was an M3 parked by the trail just next to me that had a very-nice-looking white interior - probably an eval unit as Tesla HQ is close by. Recognizing your climate, in your shoes I'd be inclined to wait for the AWD version. BTW, evidently as a result of salt-infested-roads there have been some corrosion issues between the Model S aluminum and steel trailer hitches. I haven't been following any M3 hitch discussions, but have they figured out how to tap into the turn/brake/tail lights?
