20A MCU fuse
Hello where is this fuse located please, I have the same problem, in my Ion the small capacitor blew, removed board and had it replaced . Put board back in and same issue but only this time red charge plug on display flashed twice and went off, also fan noise for 5 seconds and cut off. I’m assuming there is still something like a fuse blown. I checked fuses on the board and all appears ok and the shop who replaced blue capacitor said there is no problem with the board.😏

Thanks so much for the link, much appreciated. 😁
Thank you so much and the link is most useful especially to a novice like me. The fuse looks ok but I’m clueless when it comes to testing them?

My metre starts off at around 350v and reduces to around 48v: Background: I have the same issue, before I had the charger board repaired due to a blown capacitor there was no flashing of the red plug on the display. Since the repair the red plug flashes 3 times, fan runs for 5 seconds. I have now purchased a new 12 volt battery that I will fit tomorrow. The car will go into ready mode and I can drive but with the battery light on, turtle and yellow car with spanner I dare not take it out. There are loads of fault codes and my guess is there is something not switching on and there is absolutely no charge on the main batteries. Thanks in advance to any members who can advise please.

With the key OFF (take it out of the ignition switch), there should be no voltage across the two leads coming into the MCU from the HV battery pack. If you are reading High Voltage in this situation, then you have a very dangerous condition. Best to stop and get some expert help.

There are pictures in this thread, the first picture in post #1 shows the fuse access cover of the Motor Control Unit, MCU, removed. You will need a Torx security bit to remove the access cover.

If the fuse is blown, then the car may still go to READY and drive, but it will not be able to Charge both batteries, the HV traction pack using AC into the OBC, and the 12V starter battery using the DCDC Converter.
Thank so much I’m beginning to understand now how the system works. Tomorrow I will check what you’re advising. Thank you 😁
