I suspect the car radio and connectors may be the main differences between a an i-Miev and a iOn/C-Zero but I thought it might be worth asking here, just in case someone knows.
My Peugeot iOn car radio has been locked-out since I first bought it (second hand).
Rather than paying to have it unlocked, I decided to buy a better / aftermarket Kenwood (KMM-BT506DAB) car radio.
I searched eBay and bought the Connect 2 ISO adaptor (CT20PE02) but I can't get it to work.
After doing some tests with a multi-meter it appears that there is no permanent 12v supply (Yellow) - it switches off with the ignition. And the Red cable (switched) appears to be 10v, when nothing is connected to it. I have tried switching red/yellow using the bullet connectors but it doesn't solve the problem.
Is there a permanent 12-volt connection available anywhere on the Peugeot Quadlock connector?
Alternatively where would be the best place for me to source a permanent 12v from?
Thanks!
