Did anybody else get a survey in the mail? I got one from Gongos Research because I'm one of "a select group of vehicle owners/lessees who may be eligible to share [my] opinions with a major automotive manufacturer about [my] experiences driving the vehicle listed at the top of this page." The i-MiEV is listed.

PV1, haven't received this particular one. Most of the post-purchase surveys are mindless and very shallow, and, what is more troubling, do NOT zero-in on the reason the i-MiEV was purchased nor the primary reasons we are happy with it! Nevertheless, I usually respond to them in the belief that it helps to provide a mostly-favorable databank of responses about the i-MiEV. Just be sure you've correctly added up the number of cupholders...

I count three cupholders :D .

Actually, Mitsubishi Motors just called with a phone survey about my service visit. They said I might receive one from JD Power and Associates, which might be the one I got, under an alias  .

I'll take it. Any chance that I can spread the good word on the i-MiEV, I will.

I received the letter from Gongos yesterday. Today I tried to go to the web address listed in the letter and the website said that the study was closed. The letter said the survey would only be available for a limited time. I'll say.

When I got my letter TODAY, the survey website was blank so I emailed Gongos:

Hello John,
Thank you for contacting me. I apologize for the issue you encountered with our survey. After an overwhelming amount of interest in this study, it has filled sooner than expected. I thank you for your interest in our survey and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you for your time,

Here's a survey about charging. This one is usable. It'll ask about how you charge and if you would charge under certain circumstances.

I took this survey which is ok, but it does not adequately capture some of my key issues regarding charging. Makes me think the people who put this together have not been driving EVs for too long and don't understand our ability to change our range to match the situation we're facing.

For another opinion on this survey, look for University of Washington charging survey over on EVDL .

Got mine about 1 1/2 yrs ago, after I bought the Miev. It was a verrrry long one that seemed more interested in my private life than satisfaction with the car. Tossed it after 1/2 hour. My conclusion: I think they are very curious about why Mievs aren't selling, so they contract with survey agencies, spending millions to figure out the answer: lack of advertising. Duh!

I got one of those really long ones, too, about a month after buying the i-MiEV. It's sitting on my desk, but I did fill it out.
