After all that - so sorry to hear. Thank you for all the details.Didn't work. Same error. P1A2A. Same as before.
Occurs instantly when I go from P to R.
BTW, my 2012 i-MiEVs will not 'start' (i.e., go into READY) in N, but only 'start' in P.

Alright. Taking out MCU2 now (With the car's original MCU in it). Will try MCU3 now.If the the fault is within controller board 1 then this is excepted
Try MCU2 with controller 2 and clear DCTs or MCU3 altogether
Great stuff!Car is fixed!
Very possible, although you need to fully test the car before you’re certain…I guess the JDM cars don't care about the chassis number after all
That’s the reason forums like this exist, well done.I have learned so much. Which is the real win here. And hopefully my struggles and your input will help others who come after me.
Nice! Okay. I'll start doing that.Don't waste any money on ceramic or any brake pads--once you learn to shift to B you won't need to use the brakes much at all.
Yep. Both good!So no broken motor?
no broken gearbox?
Aren't you glad you didn't tear that thang apart.
It sure looks good--like brand new
You’re not finished with the original yet, it being left sitting for months means the BMU’s capacity value might be way off, a battery calibration would be a good way to test your Lexia/Diagbox setup…I want to buy another now!
Oh? Nice catch. Thank you. Okay. I'll try to find the procedure on how to do that. You’re not finished with the original yet, it being left sitting for months means the BMU’s capacity value might be way off, a battery calibration would be a good way to test your Lexia/Diagbox setup…
There seems to be a possibility to use a full chip Lexia cable with MUT3 (post #1)Oh? Nice catch. Thank you. Okay. I'll try to find the procedure on how to do that.
Sadly the Lexia 3 full chip cable still isn't here yet.
By the way, do you know which cables are MUT3 compatible. I really want to try out the MUT3 software.
Nothing I've tried so far as been showing up in mut3 as a compatible VCI.
My FULL CHIP Lexia 3 cable arrived yesterday finally. But the driver's aren't loading correctly and it's still an 'unknown device'.There seems to be a possibility to use a full chip Lexia cable with MUT3 (post #1)
