Back on topic, perhaps we should identify what is a 'bargain'? My thoughts, as of October 2016 in the USA SF Bay Area, reasonable mileage and condition:
2012 ES basic with Remote $5000; add $500 for SE (primarily for the alloy wheels and DRL)
2012 ES with CHAdeMO with Remote $6000
2012 SE Premium (includes Nav and CHAdeMO) with Remote $7000
2014 ES (includes CHAdeMO) with Remote $7000
Subtract $1000 for not having Remote (roughly the Remote replacement cost)
IIRC, the late-2012 and later have the slightly 'improved' battery packs.
YMMV, depending on your 'need' for either CHAdeMO or the Remote. As always, supply and demand dictate the price (Econ 101).
I notice that the prices have been holding steady for over a year, maybe even going up a bit.
