Gear selector sensor/switch ??

Today for the second time in this month my car didnt register the gear selction right - it just blinked in N no matter the position of the shifter.

After turning on/off a few times and moving the shifter it got it right

I have earlier lubed the connections under the car - but this time it doesent fell like that because the shifter is moving perfectly fine and the display is only showing N no matter the position ...

I suspect some contact/sensor maby needs a cleaning ?? - I think I remember having been reading about this procedure but cant find now ofc

Some were lucky and got away with a cleaning and lubrication of the shifter system.
