The Rolec is not a smart unit, so I modified that to give timed charging with a wireless SonOff, to turn the CP line on and off.
But disconnected that after a while, when I realised that manual charging during the afternoon Off-Peak period when the sun was shining was better :-<
So why not turn it on manually via WiFi?
So back to testing.
"If everything is plugged in and turned on, the voltages on pin 103 (plugged in) should be (according to J1772) 1.6V, increasing to 2.8V with the trigger pushed."

So Aux battery connected ?
Yes, Aux connected, car off, key out, granny plugged in and charging in progress…

I don't leave the EVSE continuously powered.
As we no longer charge overnight it's easier during the afternoon Off-Peak period to go outside, switch on the EVSE, plug into the car, reverse when finished.

We used to have an Outlander PHEV that came with a Mitsu granny.
We kept that in the MIEV for emergencies.
But sold it with the Outlander a few weeks ago.
Bought a replacement granny.
The Mitsu granny, the replacement granny, and the Rolec don't stop the MIEV charge with the button.

Are you using the Rolec or granny for the manual charge?
The Mitsu granny, the replacement granny, and the Rolec don't stop the MIEV charge with the button.
Although problem seems to be OBC or EV-ECU related, the easiest solution imho would be to interrupt the CP line externally assuming that actually still works?

If it does, then you could (theoretically) rewire the trigger switch of the plug to do just that..

Yes both cars were routinely charged with the Rolec.
The button of which stopped charging the PHEV but not the MIEV.

I have measured C-111 pin 103 with the MIEV charging on the granny.
1.6v, changes to 2.8V when the trigger is pressed.

I see that the 2015 has CP and PP seemingly swapped around, with CP now going to C-111 pin 103 on the ECU, with no Resistor in parallel ?

Was there a wiring mistake on the 2011 ?

Do other euro owners have this problem ?

Sound, use the CP line ‘hack’ to safely interrupt a charging session

Thanks for verifying the voltage levels, but now we’re venturing into ‘uncharted’ territory I’m afraid

The errors are on the schematics, not the with car according to the link @kiev provided

Don’t think so, mine works as suggested (I-MIEV, 2011 built, UK version)
