I'm sad to report that for the first time, my i-MiEV needed assistance in climbing our driveway. It wasn't much, just some ash from our woodburner for traction, but still the first time it needed help.
In Bear's defense, the driveway was nearly polished ice, and it did make it halfway before bringing our the grit, which is a considerable improvement over our neighbor's van on a more level driveway.
I'm now 1,000 miles closer to needing rear tires  . (who says an i-MiEV can't chirp the tires?)
