I have never had a car with a rear wiper. And the top of this one seems to miss about an inch - just on the very top of the window, not the top inch of the whole blade.

I was thinking of just taking that off too.
Just wondered if I am missing on something that makes this thing the Bomb or something :?:

Cars like the i-Miev that have an almost straight vertical rear window get a lot of road spray when the streets are wet. So yes I find that the rear wiper is quite handy, even if not needed all the time. Kudos to Mitsubishi for once again having a well-engineered, but terribly under-appreciated product. I wish Chevy offered a rear wiper on the Volt.

Comes in handy in the winter time with salt and snow

Ok, now I was thinking that this would be a PITA with all the snow and crap we have here. But then again I didn't know how much crap gets tossed on the back with such a short bumper.

Here in the SF Bay Area we get a night time mist that can collect on the back window (front too!). Usually I can't see through it and if I take a squeegee to it I get a good 1/4 cup of water draining to the ground with one swipe. This usually happens in the winter and spring. Flipping on the rear wiper for one sweep usually does the trick unless it's one of those mornings that I want to drink my coffee in private. ;)

PITA, Pain In The Ass

I was thinking it would just freeze up, wipe fluid would not work well.. that kinda of a pita
