"Passenger seat airbag OFF" light on

Hello,

I am new owner of I-miev. I was driving it about a month then one morning I found that "Passenger seat airbag OFF" light is on. Before it was off. On this seat I do not put child chair or other things.
May be someone could suggest what could be priblems and where to find cause?

I'm assuming that the light is on when the seat is empty?

If the seat is empty, or only seating a child, then the airbag won't operate--which is why the light is on. Airbags can actually kill a small child, so they deactivate when there's not an adult's weight in the seat.

If the light is on when the seat is occupied by an adult, then you should probably take the car in for service. One possibility is that the wires for the pressure sensor may be broken or disconnected, which can happen if the seat was removed for detailing.

Yes, the light is on when front passenger seat is empty.
Today I was driving with my wife and it was off. So there is nothing to worry about)
