I have also seen "13A" in this position. I wonder if that means it's fixed 13 A, i.e. it doesn't listen to the duty cycle of the J1772 control pilot signal?
That sounds right - I have a 2009 i-MiEV imported to the UK by a large UK-based electricity supply Company (SSE) which had a standard AC charging cable that did not comply with the 62196 standard (known here as a 'dumb' cable) i.e. it had a standard UK 3-pin domestic plug on one end and Type 1/J1772 Plug on the other with no control box or any electronics at all in between. This charges the car (somewhat inappropriately, in fact) at 13A which is too high continuous current for a standard UK socket and would lead eventually to plug/socket overheating problems, especially on an old or worn 13 amp socket. I replaced the three pin plug with a 16A CEE/industrial one and installed a matching socket to prevent any overheating problems.
 
That looks to be a Gen 2 OBC unit. do you have a question about it?
Yes Kyev, first of all, thank you for everything you have contributed to this forum, I have been reading for days. I have an I Miev 2013, I want to consider buying an OBC charger and some LEV cells to have in case mine breaks down, I have found a renewable energy company that did a project with Imiev modules and they have: LEV50 cells, they have been stored for 5 years with CMU placed in their casings, 9 Citroen OBC chargers, they come from vehicles with an accident in 2016, all of them with low mileage since they were purchased in 2019
After giving some use in last years to the LEV cells (1200 of them) using Batrium plates, they get rid of everything, the cells have never been charged, they only do a voltage check to assess their condition.
Is any modification GEN1- GEN2 to the OBC external cabling necessary? All OBCs have the wiring cut or the connectors slightly damaged, but I don't know if it can be compatible with my model and previous ones. To begin with, they offer them to me at €900 euros per unit. I would buy 8 cells to have in my reserve, and I want to make an offer for the 9 OBCs and try to sell the rest over time to get mine as cheaply as possible.
But, thinking about selling them within a maximum period of 5-7 years, what is a good price per unit?

Hello and welcome to the forum

If these cells are from 2016 they should be improved LEV50N, your 2013 car most likely still has the original LEV50. With a few exceptions, experience has shown that replacing individual cells is only a short term solution.

While 8 cells are better than nothing, it would make a lot more sense to buy a complete set (88+8spares), replace them now and sell on your original.

Of course that depends on the state these 2016 cells are in, long term storage usually doesn’t affect Li batteries provided they weren’t full or empty to begin with and were located in a suitable environment.

A simple way to gauge the current condition would be to bench test the remaining capacity on one or two cells.

Btw, how much are they looking for an 8 cell pack incl CMU?

150€ each, but I think buying all could done over 120-130 each group include the CMU board.
All CMU is possible put in any block directly or need coding block number?
Less than €1500 for a complete replacement with new(ish) cells isn’t a bad deal.

Each CMU has its own ID (1-12) and should be in the correct position (for future troubleshooting purposes). It’s possible to read out the module ID via the CAN bus without a car.

If you’re planning to swap a compete pack, just re-use the CMU boards of your I-MIEV and you won’t need to worry about IDs.
 
It only has 6 blocks = 48 cells, I cannot, nor do I want to, replace my entire car, I am only looking to have reserves for the future, but I have many doubts due to my ignorance, they are car cells from 2016, dismantled in 2019 and stored with The CMU connected inside without much care, I don't know if it causes cell discharge.
The same with the OBC, I think it is the most common failure after reading many problems in the forum, that is why I need an "easy to sell" price reference (eBay or similar) and thus calculate if I can free myself from the purchase surplus, because I get a good price for the whole set, not for what I only need for myself, an OBC and 8-10 cells.

I would buy one block, test it and if OK get the rest, you can easily double your investment.

I personally wouldn’t consider paying €900 for a damaged/untested OBC, but there are others in this forum that have more experience on this topic.
