So, I’m cruising in my ride with the heater fan dial set to "off" and the temperature dial in neutral, yet I can’t seem to stop the airflow! It’s like the car thinks I need a constant breeze, even when the temp is mild and I just want to save battery. Is there a secret setting I’m missing, or has my car developed a mind of its own? Any tips on taming this rogue airflow while keeping the battery in check?

Thanks @kiev, I’ll try the recirculate mode to see if it helps with the airflow. If that doesn’t work, I might need to negotiate with my car for some peace and quiet :)

Even with the fan off, air pressure from driving forces air through the vents. You can re-direct airflow with the bottom knob, or press the recirculate button to cut off airflow entirely.

Having the air flow in with the fan set to off uses no extra energy. Now, if there is still airflow with the recirculate on, then there may be something that needs looked at.
