I just did a test to see how many watts the 'i' uses when charging on a 240v L2 EVSE and it came out nearly exactly 3,200 Watts.
To do the test I shut off almost all the circuits in the house to get the baseline down to 69 watts and then started the charge cycle on the 'i' using a Leviton Evr-Green 160 Home Charging Station, Cord Connected, NEMA 6-20P, 16A, 240V AC, 3.8kW output. I got the numbers from the Wattvision monitor on my smartmeter which read about 3,267.

Note:The EVSE took 3 watts when idle and not connected to the car.
