Can anyone give me the name of some reputable car shippers. I have never shipped a car before and might be looking to do so. Thanks.
Last year I used uShip (as seen on the TV show Shipping Wars) to ship an i-MiEV from a dealer in PA to my house in NJ, about 150 miles. I had a good experience. $245.00. You can make all the arrangements on the Internet at http://www.uship.com.

Best advice I can give is to get quotes from a couple different options. In my experience, the price can be quite a bit different from one to another so it's good to compare prices if you want to find a reasonable price. For what it's worth, I've used this company https://www.a1autotransport.com/ and probably would again if I needed to. Came in pretty cheap compared to others and didn't have any issues with the delivery or other problems that I've read about people dealing with.

Didn't realize the date on this when I posted. Still good advice to contact a few options before making a decision if anyone is considering shipping though.

Your automobile can be shipped abroad in a number of ways. As previously indicated, Roll on/Roll off shipping, container shipping (20', 40', and 40' high cube), and collaborative containers transportation are all provided by Shipping Vehicles Ltd.

Hi there

Just to give ye some food for thought: last year I was thinking on how best (cheapest) to move an I-MIEV with a dodgy battery about 150 miles to my workshop, came across this older discussion

https://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=177&start=40

Based on the above I did invest in an A-Frame and can confirm that towing an I-MIEV with all wheels on the ground can be done, I have used it a couple of times since and it hasn’t caused any issues…
