Battery lamp and i inside car lamp ligts, is it time to replace 12v battery

When I started the car today, I noticed the battery lamp is red and below the lamp shaped as a car with a ! inside is yellow.

The car is 4 years old. Is this likely that the normal 12v battery is getting bad and I should replace after this time. I have not had a electric car before (changed battery on other cars often) are there any issues of changing battery of my imeiv?
