Finally made it to the quick charger in Cranberry! Wow, the bottom half charges up quick. I gained three bars in the time it took me to take three pictures. I started at 26% (2 bars) and finished at 98% (16 bars). It took a second shy of 20 minutes to reach 80.5%, then I had to replug to go to full. Overall, it took an hour for a full charge.

PV1, I'm sorry - I inadvertently edited your post instead of adding my own after yours. Could you re-post it, as I have no way of undoing what I did. So sorry. :(

Found the picture PV1 posted:

EDIT: PV1, glad you fixed it. :!:

Wow, I'm jealous! Thanks for the photo. I bet that, until EV's really catch on, that solar grid-tied setup (~20kW?) is making money.

No worries. That needed re-typed anyways.

There are 96 solar panels on that canopy that power an experience center and warehouse, 5 J1772 plugs, and the CHAdeMO unit. I believe they also have more solar on the roof of the building, but I'm not sure.

Quick charging is quite effective at warming up the battery, going from 60 degrees to 86 with the fan running.

At 48% (when I opened CaniOn), battery temperature was 24.6 C (76 F), and at 80.5%, it was at 26.5 C (79.7 F). At 93%, it was 26.9 C (80 F). OVMS and CaniOn must calculate average pack temp differently. When I checked OVMS at the end, it said 86 F. Outside temp was 63 F, so the battery was probably around 74 when I started. In my excitement, I didn't get starting temp, just what it was when I left the house.
