I have been looking into doing a cell swap for a friend who has a 2014 with a potential flagging cell. In my research I have struggled to find good dimension data to base my potential project on. SO, I started this thread to collect good dimensions for the battery pack components. If you have any drawings or dimensions to add to this thread then by all means add them.
For those who want dimensions for the LEV50 cell this is the best information I have thus far thanks to MickeyS70. We now have a pretty good model. You can access the .stl or .step files down near my name below. If you want to print this with your fdm printer, the top and bottom are printed separately to save both filament and time. I designed it to allow you to screw in two M8-1.25 x 15 hex cap screws into the bottom of the top cap before you glue the top cap onto the hollow body. Wall thickness is 1mm on hollow body. You do not have to use supports anywhere when printing.
