Issues with EVSE

I'm having trouble charging my electric car using a nuWorld EVSE. I've tried both 6A and 10A settings, but the car doesn't start charging. The EVSE seems to be working, but the car doesn't respond. I've tried using public charging stations, and they work fine. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

First, make sure the car is plugged in for a few minutes to initiate the charging process. Have you seen any green 'charging' light on the EVSE? Also, what is the behavior of the 'fuel gauge'? You should see a red indicator showing the battery is charging.

How do you know, did you try with a different car?

I've tried using public charging stations, and they work fine.

AC or DC (CHAdeMON) public stations?
