Imiev/Smart car

Perhaps this is common knowledge but it was news to me. The imiev started its existence as a 4dr ICE Smart Car in Europe according to this: https://cleantechnica.com/2017/08/06/goodbye-mitsubishi-miev-first/

I googled a 4dr Smart and it does look very similar to the imiev

And now neither of them will be sold in the U.S.

Yes, I've mistaken an illustration of the rear of a Smart for an i-MiEV before. I saw this idea posted once here before, but couldn't find it when I was looking for it the other day. It's not even mentioned on the i-MiEV's Wikipedia page. Thanks for the link.
