The CAN Buss data shows that the target balance voltage is always sent in the data stream.

Does anybody really know? if nobody has tried it to see if the car will activate the balancer bits after a certain time out period in READY.

I’ll give it a try, how long do you recon I have to wait, does the car need to be charged 100% initially?

[Edit] Left the car in READY for two hours and then checked the balancing status with Diagbox, all 88 of them were inactive?

The car’s SoC was around 40% but maybe the reason this didn’t work was because the cells were already within 5mV?

Well that seems like a good test. With 5mV delta there is not much need to balance, but if it were going to activate that sure seems long enough sitting at "idle" to do so.

The Laef and Mits share a common OBC design, but the LBC - BMS are different vendors. Just too much to hope for some commonality.
