Was thinking of changing the 1qt gear oil, and I have extra cabin air filters also.

Sorry to see you parting with your i-MiEV. Noted that the CraigsList ad shows it as being yellow and having 12 cylinders (I have a Ferrari 12cyl soundtrack on a thumbdrive). :roll: Thanks for the links to all those videos! All the best, and hope the i-MiEVs replacement is also a BEV.

In order to make it a more appealing buy, I am testing the battery with EVBATMON.

I have not fully discharged in a long time so the first 57.92% PMC reading may be wrong. So as I have read is recommended to get a correct PMC reading, I totally discharged last night to zero bars and the flashing pump, then plugged in the OEM Level 1 charger.

I also used a wall outlet power meter to measure power input. The charge efficiency is about 85% to 90% based on observations of several users:

This morning I noticed the car with exclamation light is on, while still charging.

So my actual capacity is, assuming 85% charger efficiency:

12.08 x 0.85 = 10.27 kWh (64% of 16kWh)

After completing the charge, EVBATMON still says 57.92% PMC.

I know this car has the older LEV50 cells, but this is a lot of degradation. I think I will take it to the dealer, but from I have read, they may not replace it unless the pack fails completely. Before the next recharge, I will check the cell voltages to see the weakest cell. Maybe the pack is close to the brink.
