I love this car, but had a great upgrade opportunity that is forcing me to sell...
You can see with all my upgrades, I was planning to keep it for a while.
Was thinking of changing the 1qt gear oil, and I have extra cabin air filters also.

* In California, automakers are required to warranty EV batteries for 10 years or 150,000 miles.
* Now California is set to take the next step and focus on used EVs. Assembly Bill (AB) 193 passed...
For after the battery warranty expires... https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=201720180AB193
AB 193, Cervantes. Zero-Emission Assurance Project.
This bill would require the state board, until July 31, 2025, to establish the Zero-Emission Assurance Project to provide rebates for the replacement of or a vehicle service contract, as defined, for a battery, fuel cell, or related components for an eligible used vehicle. The bill would require the state board to submit a specified report on the Zero-Emission Assurance Project to the Legislature no later than January 1, 2024.

Sorry to see you parting with your i-MiEV. Noted that the CraigsList ad shows it as being yellow and having 12 cylinders (I have a Ferrari 12cyl soundtrack on a thumbdrive). Thanks for the links to all those videos! All the best, and hope the i-MiEVs replacement is also a BEV.

Thanks JoeS I updated the ad.

In order to make it a more appealing buy, I am testing the battery with EVBATMON.

I have not fully discharged in a long time so the first 57.92% PMC reading may be wrong. So as I have read is recommended to get a correct PMC reading, I totally discharged last night to zero bars and the flashing pump, then plugged in the OEM Level 1 charger.

I also used a wall outlet power meter to measure power input. The charge efficiency is about 85% to 90% based on observations of several users:

http://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1546
http://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2824
"The charger efficiency is (DC power to traction battery)/(AC power from EVSE)x100 = (2,858 watts)/(3,250 watts)x100 = 88%"
"89.2% efficiency in RobertC' 2012 ,compared to 94% for the 2014."

This morning I noticed the car with exclamation light is on, while still charging.
Wall
KWh bars
11.5 full
11.85 ful
12.08 full, finished charging, 98.5% indicated in EVBATMON

So my actual capacity is, assuming 85% charger efficiency:

12.08 x 0.85 = 10.27 kWh (64% of 16kWh)

After completing the charge, EVBATMON still says 57.92% PMC.

I know this car has the older LEV50 cells, but this is a lot of degradation. I think I will take it to the dealer, but from I have read, they may not replace it unless the pack fails completely. Before the next recharge, I will check the cell voltages to see the weakest cell. Maybe the pack is close to the brink.
