This waffle plate™ passed the diode check in the lower right quad and would have been considered "ok" to use based on that section.
So the damage here was totally unexpected. We will need to determine some additional measurements to check if the waffles are burnt.
Somehow it took out one of the entire H-bridges of FETs, but left the other intact. i'm gonna try to mill it out and repair, but it could be a lost cause.
