Still a newbie .. One month now.

Wife noticed the cabin light was on while Evie (that's what wife named our EV) was parked in garage.
I have the light's mode switch set to the go-off-and-on-depending-on-if-doors-are-opened mode.

Walked all around and checked for open doors -- none open. What it came down to is light would go out if I locked the doors. But would stay on your doors unlocked. Also goes off if key turned in ignition or car driven.

Is this the normal behavior you folks see with that light? :?:

Of course I'm not talking about operating the map lights by directly pressing on the lights ... Just the "door courtesy lights."

Acensor,

Between the map lights is a two position slide switch the will cause the maps lights to act similarly to the mid-cabin overhead dome light, ie turning on when the door(s) are opened. Check the position of the switch.

My sure it's in the position you describe. Lights DO go on when I unlock car. In the other slide switch position they NEVER go on (unless map light is manually clicked on on one or othe side).

My question I'd mainly do you find that in the mid-cabin-dome-light-mode do the lights stay on if you don't lock the car?

Don't take this the wrong way, but how long did you watch it? There's a time delay on the cabin lights - they remain on for a while after the doors are closed (it's a convenience feature, e.g. help you find your way to the house door if you're in a dark attached garage), then fade out. Are you saying they're not doing that? Have you ever found the cabin lights on before you enter the car in the morning?
