Hi all, very grateful for this forum. Did searching before posting however didn't find a thread discussing exactly what I was looking for, so decided to post.

Issue: Minicab MiEV 2012 will not charge via Type 1 AC socket. After switching mains electricity on for charging, the dash shows the red plug icon, then range; however, after about 30 seconds the engine light comes on (car icon with '!'), then the charging lights switch off.

Would be thankful if directed to a thread that already discusses that issue. Otherwise, please advise of any additional information required.

Hello and welcome

I assume you're only getting this issue when trying to charge? If that's the case, then you most likely having an issue with the OBC, although without error codes, this is more an educated guess. Some pointers below

As an afterthought, did you try another 'granny' to rule out an EVSE issue?

Thanks, MickeyS70, for prompt reply and welcome.

Yes, only when trying to charge, at the moment, via AC. DC may work.
Hmm, thanks, suspected it might be OBC. Will now research best practice to source those error codes and read your suggested thread. Thanks
