Sound, attached is what the manual has to say about it, might want to check the brake fluid level…

Good to know. I did check the brake (and other fluid) levels and they're all rather mid. Iirc the previous owner said he didn't replace any fluids except for the motor/transmissions oil. Apparently he had to get the car towed 25m to get over the crest of a hill because the car's computers just shut everything down because of the angle of what little transmission fluid was left.

Somewhat off-topic: I *think* that's the first I ever heard of any active monitoring of the transmission fluid level by the i-MiEV.
