AC charger damaged by reversing when plugged in at home.

Happened to me.
Mitsubishi in uk not interested now franchises closed down.
Bought part via eBay from Sweden £88.00
Fitted by local ev trained electrical technician none franchised independent for £57.00

As long as the cable is still plugged in, car won’t go READY

Frankly I haven't a clue what it is you are talking about. Do you mean the car's onboard charger or the pEVSE/Mode 2/'granny charger' cable, or what?

I agree Martin, possibly a replacement charge port ?

My 2011 MIEV doesn't stop charging when the trigger is pressed.

Perhaps a similar fault allows the car to be set to READY and be driven, I must try mine one day (carefully !)
