Hello everyone. I love my i-Miev and really hate to get rid of it, but now I bought a late-model Chevy Bolt and need to sell my i-Miev. This car has served me well for over 12 years. I bought it brand-new off the lot on October 12, 2012; the photo is from the day after I bought it, but aside from the traction battery, everything else is still in excellent working order. It has the Chademo port and I used to use it all the time, but the car was in storage for 1.5 years awhile back, and when I started driving it again the Chademo no longer worked; I believe there was an upgrade to the charging stations and my i-Miev never got the message. The J1772 port still charges it just fine. The traction battery has been getting very tired for about the last 4 years, and by really babying it -- staying only on city streets, using regen braking for every slow-down and stop along my ride, coasting in neutral as much as possible, and otherwise driving it no faster than 30 to 35 mph -- I've been able to keep using it for my necessary travels. On a full charge the range lately has been around 30 miles, and with really careful driving the past few days, this morning it was at 36 miles. I have been see-sawing about buying the battery upgrade package, and with everything else in good condition, it's a great candidate for the battery upgrade. But now that I've gone ahead with the decision to get the newer Bolt, my trusty old i-Miev has to go, and I'm going to cry. If anyone here wants it, I would be happy to get $3000 for it, or best offer. It has to find a new home.
