mine kept jumping out of charge if the battery was low, 6 attempts at first but it has improved in the last 6 months of slow charging, and has charged perfectly for the last couple of months the previous owner used a wall charger (13a at a guess) and often dc charged too, so i,m guessing that...

my obc used to drop out when the battery was low, its behaved impeccably the last month or 2 tho, the previous owner used dc charge apparently and i think the cells got out of sync, my 6a charging every day appears to have balanced them now

it says used and untested, i would pay the extra for a new one personally cant you get one more local ?

if its type 1 connector, yes they do a type 2 one too

yes my voltage is usually 250, uk grid limits are 216 - 253, i only do 120 miles per week, so i tend to charge for about 3 hrs each day, at the lowest setting you will probably need to run it at 13A eh

not directly, they feed the house, and i charge from the house, and any excess is diverted to hot water

yeh the same as the one i got with the car, i prefer my new one tho, it records kwh used on the display, and i prefer to slow charge at 6A, from the solar panels on the house

i use an ebay £80 "RING" charger every day, usually at 6A, but it does 10 and 13A too rpc10ao5

definitely the ecu pulling it off charge in my case imo, when it took 6 attempts to get it to charge when i first got the car (nearly flat) it would charge for about 3 secs then trip, then 10 secs the second try, then 30 secs the third try etc, and the new 6A/10A/13A granny charger had the same...

my 2012 needs a few attempts if its very low too, its been behaving better lately tho, but i rarely go below 20 miles from empty maybe a few of the cells are sluggish ?

my understanding is the imiev synchronous motor is basically a big car alternator, and car alternators freewheel if the field coils are,nt energised, and they generate only when those field coils are energised (ie, more current passed through them = more output/regen)

have you tried cleevely ? down the m5 in cheltenham ?
