    Hypermiling the i-MiEV

I was coasting the other day and I moved the gearshift into "R" by mistake! I noticed the indicator on the dash and immediately moved it back to N, then D. I don't know if I actually put my foot on the accelerator at that time or not! Nothing happened, though, nothing at all. But I'm not...

    That was awesome! Jenn

    Maximum Range Remaining

My RR was 92 miles after recharging this morning! (The secret is to have my husband drive, I think. It always shows more RR when we recharge after he's been driving.) Jenn

    Coasting question

I agree with Tonymil, I also don't think that keeping the needle between the two zones is as efficient as coasting, at least it doesn't feel that way to me. Jenn

    Maximum Range Remaining

I have now (yesterday) seen max RR of 87. Still trying to catch Joe, and I wonder if it can go to triple digits? (It probably can, since Idanby posted 144 km.) Jenn

    Quantifying Regeneration and Consumption

Joe, It sounds like you are saying that we can regen back in at a rate of 2/3 of the power we can send out? That sounds pretty great to me, at least much better than I expected. Jenn

Setting the clock on the ES to a 12 hour clock

I think someone mentioned in another thread that it can't be changed. I like 24-hour time, so I didn't even notice. Jenn

    Wheel covers

Those wheel covers look nice, I may just have to get some! Jenn

    Cargo Cover?

Hi Joe, I haven't had to use the defroster yet, but I got my volvo wagon tinted at the same place 10 years ago and it has held up perfectly, no issues. Jenn

    Wheel covers

Argh - it still wants me to create a shutterfly account and log in first. Jenn

    Sun Shade.

Has anyone found an appropriately sized sun-shade for the windshield? If so, please post your source! Thanks, Jenn

    Wheel covers

jray3, That sounds great, I really want to see the picture, but Shutterfly says it is marked "private" and I need to sign up to see it. Is there a way to mark it "public"? Thanks! Jenn

    Cargo Cover?

Joe, Great idea, I'm about to run out to the garage and put an unused rubbermaid container in there now! As for what we did about a cargo cover, we tinted the back windows at 5% (the darkest you can get, I believe). :ugeek: Jenn

    Maximum Range Remaining

The most I can recall seeing on ours is 78. Is there a thread about remote functioning? Because I programmed mine to turn off before full, and I don't think it did (well, I know the car was at 100% and I don't think I over estimated the amount of time to set on the remote). Joe, did you...

Hi Gamegame, I didn't know you could get an ES with quick-charge! Jenn

    Help me buy an iMiev

Hi Peter, I had the same idea as you, and I looked into leasing a Leaf. But with a 4-year, 12,000 miles per year lease on the Leaf with $2k down, the cost was the same as buying the i-MiEV outright. I looked at a 4-year lease because you get more for your money (because most depreciation is...

    Wheel covers

I found this link on another forum: http://www.mooneyesusa.com/shop/product.php?products_id=473 It's for disk-like wheel covers. Looks aerodynamic, but I question if this would make the brakes heat up too much? Jenn
