Single LEV50-cell wanted for our Citroen C-Zero

Hello! One cell of our Citroen C-Zero is to be dying. After full charging SOC is only 53%. I registered this damage back round 1.000km with a SOC of 95% after full charging: My garage says traction-battery has breakdown. The car is less then 3 years old and was round 62.000km on the road...

Hello Joe! You are right with Wh instead of Wh/km for panel Trip History. Thanks for this input! I will change this for next release. km/kWh is not common in Europe, it was requested from japanese users. Regarding WiFi-only devices: i also own a WiFi-only device. I load the offline-map on my...

caniOn: Batt Status: fast motion: charging from 2% to 100%

Hello! I made a fast motion video from charging our car from 2% to 100% SoC with 230V/10A. https://youtu.be/2rSQ64MPcPA Martin

    Battery Degration 20.000km later

Recharging tooks 17.500Wh, measured via dedicated Ferraris-counter. So with 14.588Wh used, i have 20% loose at charging or 83% efficiency for the whole batterysystem with charging-unit. Regarding battery degration: it seems to me, that Mitsubishi follows the strategy to give us always the same...

    Battery Degration 20.000km later

Hello! Last year i did a trip around Neusiedlersee, Burgenland, Austria. To get a feeling for battery degration, i did this trip today again. Battery temperature was today a little bit higher as last year (2014: 19,1°C -> 21,3°C, 2015: 23,4°C -> 25,8°C). I discharged the battery from 100% to...

Range on full battery in one drive?

Hello! I have done this last year twice - from 100% SOC to 2% SOC. Have a look to my detailed (german) report: http://67183441.foren.mysnip.de/read.php?28653,395517,395517#msg-395517 Martin

    Android CAR PC

I use caniOn on a Nexus 7 1. gen, connected via cigarette ligther usb-adapter to charge the android device, if the car is "READY". I also use the caniOn setting "auto close" in alliance with app 'plug in launcher' to start/stop caniOn via ignition key. So i do not need to handle the android...

I had a look now to your btcan.db. There are a lot of fps=0 in table SECLOG. No idea about the reason. Could you make a try with panel Trip Timer. Maybe there is a memoryleak in graphics-engine on drawing all the graphs. So please try panel Trip Timer, which only has labels. Also: please make a...

Turn off panel Acc Pedal history and panel Cockpit also and restart caniOn. This two panels uses additional PIDs. Maybe without these PIDs your device is working probably via reduced bt-traffic. Martin

Be aware, that all panels are updated every second, if connected with the car. So, depending on the power of your android device, 2 hour graphs are to much. Long time periods should only be viewed not connected with the car! Martin

Most obd-software uses obd-commands und listen to the answer. So there are no special hardware requirements to the obd-adapter and the android-device. But caniOn does not use obd-commands. caniOn only listen to the can-bus. There are 1.625fps on the can-bus and caniOn uses some filter-commands...

Which android device and which android version do you use? Tested already wifi/wlan off? Do you use other BT-apps on this device or do you use another BT-device near to the caniOn-device? Have a look to fps in the bottom, right corner. Is this stable around 425fps? Martin

Hello! I did a trip of 224km last saturday with outside temperature 20°C in the morning, raising to 30°C at noon. I have seen a batt temp avg of 49°C after 224km with 2 QC, starting with 25°C – with old formula. I can’t believe that a 236kg battery can go up 24°C in some hours. How many energy...

    Canion Battery Readings

    Hello! That's not true. caniOn calcs Watts = Volts * Amps with current values at this moment via looking for PID 373, which is sent with 100Hz. Case("373") ' 100 / sec B_Amp = (BB(2) * 256 + BB(3) - Bigv )/100 B_Volt = ((BB(4) * 256 + BB(5))/10) B_W = B_Amp * B_Volt...

    Canion Battery Readings

    I do a second measurement with 40.046km on the odometer some weeks later (see http://67183441.foren.mysnip.de/read.php?28653,395517,397600#msg-397600). 16.056Wh - 1.356Wh = 14.700Wh (98% DoD) ... 14.700Wh/0,98 = 15.000Wh (100% DoD) with a battery temp avg = 18°C. So the calc of relative...

Hello Malm! Thank you for your ScreenShots in https://www.dropbox.com/s/lcgm7ssprvbjhh2/Malm.docx. I see 12.368Wh out & 1.744Wh reg from 100%SoC to 20,5%SoC, right? So if i calculate the battery capacity for your car in the same way as done with ours (see...

Hello Graham! You do not need any other app - only caniOn! I know this behavior with app OBD Link. On scanning the canbus, several canbus-protocols are checked from app OBD link by sending some init-commands to the canbus. One of this init-commands cause this troubles - very dangerous, yes...
