I often have PMs that I have sent to members of this forum that have not been picked up - they're still sitting my my out-basket. I suspect that a member doesn't even know that a message is there as they haven't logged in or they haven't enabled automatic email notification that a message is waiting for them.
The next post discusses the process.

How To Receive An Email When Someone Sends You a PM
This forum has a number of configurable notification settings, and an extra step is needed to enable the eMail Notification. Here's how -
- Log in
- Click on your name
- Select User Control Panel
- Select Board preferences
- Select Edit notification options
- Under Miscellaneous Notifications Someone send you a private message check bothEmail and Notifications
Hope this helps.
