UK 2011 I-MIEV Alarm

1. Occasionally I accidently press the lock or unlock button on the keyfob when inserting or removing the key from the steering lock.
And the alarm siren goes off in the (I believe) COBRA Immobiliser.
If I wait a minute it stops.
Or I fiddle about pressing lock and unlock, closing the doors, locking the doors etc.
Is there a procedure ?

What I have noticed is that if you lock the car with the fob and the unlock it with the key, the alarm goes off. Even if you then start the car with the key and drive off, alarm keeps blaring until such time you use your fob again…
