Well this brings me up to about 3 months driving my little Miev. So far it's been a great little car. Not having to visit a gas station in three months is not the least of the joys of owners :mrgreen: hip

I found this forum before I bought the car, and actually it influenced my decision quite a lot. It has answered a lot of questions I had trying to decide between going all-electrics hybrid, and of course the miev vs the Leaf vs waiting on a Ford Focus electric.

I just posted a few questions in the technical section about using generators to extend range or in emergency situations. Hopefully I didn't duplicate too many points you've answered before.

Welcome to the group Charlie. One bunch of happy EV owners here.

We just went through a snow storm and were without power for 2 1/2 days , used our generator 7,000 watts, to charge up the car with our upgraded original charger connector on 240v, all worked out well.
