Does anyone have a speed TQ curve for the motor or information on the Drive how different it is vs a "normal" industrial drive.
How many pole is the motor and so on.
well the amp i am going to put in is 360w RMS but i am sure i will not have it turned up loud the whole time but i needed a pretty good sized amp to run the infinity kappa perfect 6.1 speakers.
I do have some 1 frad caps here at work that we were using on some projects i could always add that...
I am going to put some kappa perfect 6.1 speakers in the miev with a nexus 7 as the head unit along with a 4 channel infinity amp. What i am wondering is how many amps will the DC/DC converter transfer to the 12v battery when needed. I won't be playing the radio load all the time but the load...
I have been watching that thread the big thing i don't know is where to fit the amp and if i can fit these speakers in the doors because of how big the magnets are on the back.
Well i am going to do a Stereo upgrade on me ES i wanted the better stereo in the SE but not willing to buy all the other stuff that went with the SE to get it.
The plan is a clean stereo system. Speakers and amp will be infinity (links below)...
Mine beeps sometimes and then other times it doesn't i really have not looked into it but i think i will just go to the dealer and plug into the car and set it.
You should see the remote reprogram that is just as nuts and you can't do that one from the tech tool.
I have the cold weather package on my car in Michigan. From what i read it really does not do anything until the temps get will below freezing. So what i am going to do is just keep the car plugged in if the temps are below 40F out. In the summer it does not get that warm here most of the time...
Going to run stock and see how things go the only thing i would be worried about with what you did on the heater below the car is any salt that you get in there will be trapped and eat at the parts worse.
but besides that looks good should help you out.
It looked like they had snow tires on the back.
So might be something to think about. This is not my only car so i will drive it in 3" of snow or less but more then that i will just take the diesel cummins.
My charger tells me how many kW it puts into the power pack each charge. From what i can tell there is some loss to heat but not a lot. The part that i don't understand is the dip after the first couple hours it happens on every charge.
I am just going to keep the car plugged in and on days when we get more then 3" of snow i will just take the diesel truck (which also does not like the cold)
I have a 50mile round trip so in the winter when i run the heat it might be hard to make it with out plugging in at work we will see how...
mine did that and then after a little time it just always said DC Error it ended up being a lose conection under the dash for the radio it took them about 6 hours to find it and 2 I cars.
Everything has been fine from there on out.
