Seat Covers for i-MiEV ES Model

In 2012 I found some on e-bay for the front seats only that were from Greece. Not super easy to put in as claimed, as I had to take out the seats to get them on properly. But they fit well an are holding up. I'd like to find some for the back seats.

How many miles on your i-MiEV?

Are you still compiling data? 20,500 miles. Getting 4.5mi/kwh. Lots of hills and freeway driving. Always charged to 100%, generally run down only to 30 or 40% remaining charge. Have seen turtle twice in 2 years. Possibly a teeny bit of degradation, maybe 1.5 miles less on the first bar.

Time of Day rates and EV ownership

The off-peak rate here is about $0.04/kwh, and I get about 4.5mi/kwh=less than a penny a mile. Also, since most of my usage is at night, my entire electric bill went down! That's a negative cost to drive my "i" Bill in SF

Can the dealer set the car not to crawl forward?

When you are stopped, press the break pedal a little harder and it will momentarily de-activate the creep. Notice what happens to you "power" needle when you do this. The iMiEV is great in that it has both options to creep or not to creep.

Level 2 Charging at Home Stops

Oops, obviously I should have read the posts all the way through before adding my two cents. Thanks for the follow up. I'm going to buy a can of that electrical cleaner--just for insurance. Bill

    Blink Level-3 charging problems

I had early termination problems at the Belmont, CA Blink quick charger. That was back in summer 2012. I contacted Blink and Mitsubishi, both said they were working on a software glitch. I haven't had occasion to try again, but I'm very interested in whether this problem has been solved. Is...

WHAT CAN I DO TO INCREASE SALES OF THE CAR?

I heard from a Mitsubishi engineer that there won't be a 2013 model. they want to sell off the remaining 2012's and then will issue the 2014's Bill

Battery life and 93 miles to go??

WOW! I'm glad to see that some are really putting these great little cars to the test. I'm with the others who would like you to please keep us posted on how this high usage affects the car, especially battery capacity. The greatest RR indication I've ever had is 83mi., but that was after a...

Level 2 Charging at Home Stops

It could be a problem in your charging station like premature overload trip, or in the wiring, or a software communication problem between the station and the car's charger. If anything awry is sensed, the car's default response is to stop charging for self preservation. This could be a a...

    Quick Charging

Strategically placed DC quick chargers can and hopefully will open up a whole new world to EV travelers, specifically chademo for iMiEV's. They will take your "i" from near empty to 80% SOC in about 20 min, nearly doubling your effective range. The last 20% will take longer, but will still be...

    San Francisco BayMiEVers

Hi Folks, I just joined the group, sorry I missed your get together. I'd be interested in meeting other i-MiEVers in the Bay Area. Mine is a '12 white and blue with quick charge port. I also have a few adapters to plug into a number of different 240V outlets (my portable charger takes...
