Any help getting the MUT working would be very welcome.
Running on a laptop windows xp, and vista, crashes when trying to read high voltage codes, reads canbus OK
Looking to buy a MUT 3 diagnostic tool capable of clearing error codes for my imiev, C zero & Peugeot Ion. Don't want to spend any more than I have to. Any advice from members welcome.
Have got an old laptop and Windows XP.
Am breaking the ion for spares if anybody needs any parts.
Have bought a crashed Peugeot Ion to try its MCU with the Citroens can bus circuit board in, so far had no joy with getting ready ping. Badly need a MUT 111.
Would like to transfer the battery pack and motor into a Polaris ranger EV, will need a driver for the IGBTs so could dispense with the ECU.
Thanks for the help, we tried to change the MCU codes to match the Citroen's but came to the conclusion they were flashed on.
Good to have knowledge of another MCU available.
Anybody know if you can get round the code mismatch by swapping the main circuit board in the Motor Control Unit when fitting a MCU from another car. Would you have to use the same 3 circuit boards above the IGBTs too?
Told by Mitsubishi engineers in Japan that the Citroen C Zero MCU is stopping...
Both cars made a year before the recall.
Richard tried the imiev MCU in the Citroen C0, but it would not allow him to match it with the ECU code. Tried changing both but no joy.
Was only getting a code mismatch error message, don't know if that means the P1A15 high voltage fault has gone. So not...
Thanks mdbuilder, that was the only one I have seen at a price that makes repairing the car viable. Unfortunately I was too late when I tried to buy it.
Have a lot more confidences in the diagnosis now I have noticed on the forum the recall of US model imiev's to replace the faulty MCU's made in...
Mitsubishi have given their verdict, reading's for capacitor and resistor OK, likewise contactor.
They think it is a faulty motor control unit. Mitsubishi price £5000! Citroen only £2500.
Any help finding a second hand MCU greatly appreciated.
Just an update.
Still waiting for Mitsubishi Japan to say what's wrong, they have had all the reading's from the battery pack, suspect resistor was OK.
Richard was checking all the plugs for corrosion, when he plugged everything back together he found the car would come to ready!
He drove it and...
