Did anyone get a similar letter?

I received this from a nearby Mitsubishi dealership.

It has an altered US Treasury LOGO on the upper right hand side. If one reads closely it actually says MMNA Department of the Treasury 2009.

It reads like part of the old TARP program, and even references it.

Second Paragraph:

"The United States Department of the Treasury has done its part in funding over $700 billion dollars in a bail out program for troubled assets, and we are also very fortunate to be able to provide HUGE relief to selected customers during this tax season who are struggling to keep up with their higher car payments."

The second to last sentence is "When you call *** *** ****, an operator will be standing by to schedule your appointment."

Curiosity got the best of me so I called the number and was not connected to an operator, but to a SALES person at the dealership.

This HAS to be at the very least misrepresentation, if not downright false advertising.

No wonder Mitsubishi is having problems ,if they allow dealerships to do things such as this.
Parts of this (The LOGO, the reference to TARP) border on illegality.

WOW!
