Hello, I am the new owner of a 2013 vehicle with 73,000 km, my first impressions are very positive, I have been a user for 11 years of a Nissan Leaf that with 158,000 km (around 100,000 miles) maintains 75% of the HV battery , the Imiev is currently at 58% (28Ah), so I assume that it was exhausted more % during its use or that the cells are not as effective, my intention is to use it combined with the Leaf and in the future change cells, the Imiev it is the my ideal vehicle due to size, weight, etc... the first thing I think about is adding a power bank 3KVA with about 5Kwh battery, either a DIY from Lifepo+UPS to reduce cost and weight, or a power bank compact power pack, both with a cable charging at 6-10A selectionable

Hello and welcome to the forum

The current SoH may be based on a conservative degradation model applied by the BMU rather than reality, especially if it wasn’t calibrated on a regular basis. You seem to have access to an OBD dongle, try running the CAP2 procedure with the OBDZero app to get an up to date measurement of the battery capacity.

As you probably already know the health of your 12V aux battery is important as a old, weak one can generate all sort of intermittent problems

Adding a power bank to have your own mobile charging station an interesting idea, but just in case the Leaf is different: the IMiev won’t go to Ready state while charging.
