Today Mitsubishi released that is has started US deliveries of the 2012 Mitsubishi i Electric Vehicle. The name has been shortened from the Mitsubishi iMiev, which is what it is called around the world. The body of the Mitsubishi i has also been enlarged for the US market, and it is finally starting to arrive in dealerships! The Mitsubishi i is now the second all electric vehicle available for purchase. The Mitsubishi i and the Nissan Leaf have beat the Ford Focus Electric, Toyota Prius Plug-in and other electric vehicles to market. We'll see if American's are really ready for the cheap little Mitsubishi imiev electric vehicle.
