I had to leave my Miev in storage for a month. When I returned I plugged it in and nothing happens. The fan doesn't come on the the light on the charger simply says ready, but never indicates it is charging. I charged the small 12 volt battery under the hood, but that did no good, problem remains. I am a very long way from any dealer. I've never had a problem before. Anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry to hear of your problem.

A few questions
What year and model
Where are you located
How many bars of power where there when you put away in storage,
What conditions was it stored in . Garage? outdoors, What temperatures?

When you turn the key, how many bars power showing, do any lights gauges turn on?

If not you might try a boost

A couple of other questions. Was the 12 volt battery dead when you returned to try and restart the car? If it was and then you tried to charge it, some code might have been set in the computers or they got confused as they powered up. Try disconnecting the fully charged 12 volt battery for about ten minutes and then reconnect it and see what happens. Also, does the dash light up (go through the start up self test) and provide a "ready" light if you are disconnected from your EVSE? Does it indicate a state of charge when you turn the key to the run position?

Always disconnect the (-) negative terminal side of the 12V battery for reset or removal before the (+) side. After removal and reinstall, the (-) goes on last. First off, last on.

If you have a voltmeter, what is the voltage reading of the 12V battery?
