JoeS - thanks for the information. In the following pictures you can see my cable is laying on the ground. I could lay it across the car, but I'm afraid I'll damage the finish over time. Since I use the cable outside of the garage during warmer months, I can't really rig up a sling for it and I can't forget about the garage door, either. Small spaces have the advantage of not being able to collect too much clutter, there definitely a limiting factor here.
