Wow... lots of confusing info, here. As far as *AC charging* is concerned:The car will not (should not!) go to Ready if there is a Type 1 plug properly plugged into the chargport. This is called a 'interlock function' and is designed to stop the car from being driven when the cable plug is connected… for obvious reasons. So let's ignore the question of it going to Ready or not when the cable is coming connected.The first thing I would check is to that the T1 plug is properly connected. To that end, please post a picture here of the T1 plug, taken side-on, when plugged into the car and another showing the plug from the same angle when disconnected from the car.
