Thanks kiev.Before reading this I didn't know that there was anything other than the CAN bus. So I dug into the service manual and found this:LIN networkCAN networkWhich you probably have seen already. This seems to show that the BMU and the MUTIII are both connected via the CAN bus not the LIN bus and that the LIN bus only connects ECUs with the master ECU. As I understand it LIN is the protocol used on the K-Line. But I have no practical knowledge of the two systems. My work begins and ends at the OBD connector.CheersDavid
