My friends C-Zero, year 2011, 14.000 km, averaged 148Wh per 1% SOC, so his value for 5% is 740Wh. I don't know about 50% SOC voltage, but I saw yesterday my car stopped at 8% SOC and many cells close to 2,8V. Really concerned... Any thoughts about that?

I'l let you know but last time i measured this value, it was 62 Wh in average for 0,5 SoC so 50-55 620 Wh should go into the battery.

I see. I just wanted to remind you that renting a battery is very expensive IMO. Very attractive option can be buying used C-Zero or Ion for not more than 10k€.

John, what about Zoe's battery rental costs? I believe in UK also you can't buy but only lease the battery. If so, I would make a calculation about profitability. The price of monthly battery rental and electricity cost is at least 8€/100 km. That makes driving Zoe far more expensive as any...

I do it quite often. I noticed I can rely on the SOC Canion reading. The car stops at 0-2% SOC and every % equals at least 1 km of easy driving. It happened a few times I came to a planed charging station with less than 5% SOC w/o any range anxiety.

I just don't care about missing remote in Citroen C-Zero. On cold days coming in a few weeks a small 240V 2 kW fan heater does the job quicker and better than integrated car's heater. I just need a power strip to charge and heat the car simultaneously home or at charging station.

I believe the answer is simple. EVs will outsell ICEs when prices will be equal and range will reach let's say 200 miles. Even today there is no real technical reason for so high prices of nowadays EVs. All depends on the political and corporative will and decisions.

Not much I suppose. Cells covered by temp sensor 64 would cool down much slower if they were affected by hot tube when you stop the car. I noticed that sensor 64 temperature is matching other values pretty soon after I put the car in the garage which makes me think the outstanding sensor 64...

It's OK, every country has to start building charging infrastructure at some point in time. I see your electricity prices are even lower than ours so your acquaintances will very soon envy your mobility costs and other EV advantages. Even more if you'd buy "almost new" I-miev for less than 8k€.

It is the same battery. PSA (Citroen & Peugeot) don't have their own packs. They cooperated with Mitsubishi many years before I-miev. Mitsubishi produces models for other brands also. They are only rebadging them for Citroen and Peugeot. You sure know Mitsubishi Outlander and Citroen C-Crosser...

It's the same car. The only difference is I-miev has 2 additional drive modes (Eco and B), where B is same as C-Zeros and Ions regular drive mode. So the most important question for the buyer is not the brand but the battery condition.

All C-Zeros were leased and Citroen sells them now. There is still a possibility to negotiate the price.

Right now prices in EU are between 7.500 and 11.000€ for 2011/12 with less then 20.000 km on. I believe average price will fall significantly in half a year. All potential EU buyers should be alert and follow the market supply to catch the right moment. How to check the car and battery...
