My Mitsu dealer replaced my stock EVSE under warranty. They said I still have the balance of my 5/60 warranty. I'm a happy guy. I only use it about once a year maybe - like this past year at a campground, but I didn't want to buy another EVSE and it's nice to have if I sell the car some day.

I don't think this is necessarily true depending on the hill and depending on whether braking is necessary. If it is a long hill and using N, I can go farther in N than by using any regen, because by using regen, I lose energy (about 50% or whatever). But by coasting, I go farther with that...

I was thinking about that last winter - how much cool air hits the front of the car and there is no hot engine or exhaust manifold to heat it up. And how the legs and feet get so cold no matter what you have on. I wonder if there is room to insulate around that heater?

I have not worked on it lately - it looks fine in the car but it is loose - I'm planning on working on it this weekend and will post again. I may remove the top 3 connectors and just let it connect with the main ones at the radio. That may do it. Will let you know.
